Talent Acquisition Specialist
Munich HQ, but hey this is nearly 2022 and so WFH is possible as long as you can get to the office when you need to.
c70k +/- depending on experience
We are currently seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition professional to join a growth business based in Munich. You will strengthen their capacity and capability to meet their challenging business goals, which have a key priority to recruit and retain exceptional people.
So, let’s start with you.
Why would you want to join?
Firstly, they are strong financially, with significant further growth planned. No one wants to join a new business, only for them to not be there in 12 months. They are well-positioned in their niche and business is very good.
Secondly, this is a new role and so has plenty of scope to make it your own. You will work with a great team of supportive HR colleagues, however, no one is going to micromanage you. You are the recruitment expert and so you’re there to shape the function.
Thirdly, there is plenty of opportunity to get involved in wider HR Project work. Think employer branding, succession planning, reward etc. For those that want to build a career within an internal function, this is good experience to add to your skillset.
Finally, the business is involved in making the world a better place. It may sound cliche, but they really are. They are values-driven, look after their people well, who in turn are involved in some ground-breaking work. They are doing a lot of good and a common theme from new starters has been that this was a powerful motivator for them to join the business.
What is the role?
You will have responsibility for full life cycle recruitment projects, providing professional advice and guidance to business management teams. Working closely with HR colleagues you will play an important role in headcount planning and will act as an expert in the design of appropriate recruitment solutions to support the commercial needs of the business.
You will contribute towards the strategic direction of the resourcing function and will lead projects to ensure the appropriate talent attraction strategies are in place and will build and maintain a pipeline and talent pool of candidates, that supports the requirements for specialist and technical roles both now and for the future.
What do we need?
We are looking for an experienced Recruiter who is comfortable operating at all levels across multiple functions. It is a knowledge-based business and so not high volumes, but highly skilled. You could come from either an in-house or external environment, with the important factor being that you can demonstrate strong stakeholder management experience.
It’s a global business and so you will need to be bilingual (German/English).
We are keen to speak with candidates who can add value and bring new ideas to the business. We are looking at c70k + bens, however, we have a bit of flexibility and would be keen to speak to people on either side of that marker and tailor the final role based on their capabilities.
